we could possibly vote to merge instead of it only be leader initiated
I don't agree with the respect being added, even if it's half. Could then just buy factions to merge with and gain respect without spending the energy needed.
And tbh, I don't think this is needed any more. Not many factions merge any more since people just become X 2.0 so leave it how it is.
No respect should be added or exchanged between factions by any means, even for a merger. This would not get used for mergers, it would get used by people buying and selling factions to sell respect, which should not be in the game.
Disagree, the very rich would just use this to buy up small factions and add to their respect total. Small factions would get gobbled up and the rich and powerful would get even better.
Exactly this i see this being abused
