Elimination!

Same thing with me.  I can't freaking join a team...  all full!!! 

Perhaps the fix for that instance is to make it so that there has to be at least 4 teams open in order to use that option?   That will give people who really want to join an extra chance without making it likely that people who want to play will gamble that they can manipulate the system.  Or... perhaps make it so that the option to join a random open team is only open to those who have not looked at their options prior to having them filled.  It would suck to be busy for two days and then log in and have no option to join.  It's another story when the person left out has been looking at his/her choices for the last three days and they just waited too long.

Same here, I finally decided to join in and all my defaults are full, wtf is this crappy system?

Seems a lot of folk are in this position. Hopefully all the teams are full this year.

Waiting is the pitfall of trying to see which teams have the stronger players in order to secure being on a winning team, seems a day late. Pick and jump in early or you'll be sitting on the sidelines as a spectator. Hopefully, this year's games will encourage participation in next year's games.

Again, it would be fairer and better if one just clicked "join Elim" and you get assigned without choice. This automatic random placement would ensure that all teams have equal members and there could be ZERO arangements with others from same faction etc. Would also be great fun for all.

its stupid......all of the teams every year are more than half filled with players that wont make a single attack.    it doesnt make any god damn sense that there are players that would like to participate, but they're not allowed to because the 4 teams that were randomly chosen from them are full.   If the teams fill up, give the players another option, its not that hard.

 

anyway, Im stuck on the sidelines.  The only thing Im rooting for is a total freakin shit show (like every year).  

I think the easiest way to fix the problem without getting rid of choosing an option from 4, next time the competition is run, is increase team maximum size to maybe 1200 or even 1500.

Can’t think of a better solution.

If that was implemented it would be “gamed” by players wanting to be on the same team

Wait till entries close, then distribute players based on stremgth and activity levels to balance the teams

Sorry for your loss. But, it is not the end of the world and you can enjoy it next year.

for those that couldn't get in.... my recommendation would be to travel to Argentina, Switzerland and South Africa in order to make a killing off the marked-up prices on Tear Gas, Flash and Smoke Grenades
