I think happy has a small effect.  Your strength being below the stat cap certainly has an effect.  The vast majority of people working in a 10* fitness center will have strength over the stat cap, and will be living in a PI, and shouldn't have to worry about happy and such, but maybe that comes up more in the lower * companies, and it's a 5* special.

The only time I think it might matter is if you are working in a fitness center *and* you're already doing happy jumps.  That's probably a rare scenario.  But if you're doing happy jumps anyway, and you're going to use those job points on strength anyway,, it makes sense to use those job points during the happy jump when you have very high happy.  Outside of that, I don't think it's worth worrying about.

I wrote a short guide on happiness in the FC boost. It does have an effect, but it seems to be fairly minor. If you have saved up a large number of FC points, happy boost as far as you want to go, and use them in small batches until they're all consumed. Your gains will be maximised.

This is hardly a particular necessity, it just optimises them.

~100k max a day (at capped stats + 10* fc!) from what i understand?

As baldr said, it's quite rare to see a player doing happy jumps and at a 10* FC in the process

Happiness works in the same way the old old happiness mechanics work

For each job point used on strength you gain an additional 1 strength per 500 happiness.

Very negligible, but there in the background.

So should I use 10 points per time or is it better to bulk use 200 at once? Or is there a perfect amount like with army points?
Keltos [2111018]

Yes 100k a day for 10 points but if you have 100 points its 1m you can use as many points as you like if you have more then 10

I have atm around 400 points and want to use them when i get to 50m  maybe in a mounth or so
Hamr [2027992]

If you have 50m stats it doesn't matter, but there are still people with under 50m.

I also haven't tested whether happiness does anything past 50m stats, I get the impression it would probably do nothing at that point.

I would imagine using points in bulk isn't always the best choice for those under the stat cap, Reason being, even going SSL without refills (yeah yeah taboo subject.... trust me it has a point) your stats double around once every 2 months. If you can do that without Xanax and refills, you sure  shouldn't  use things as a lump sum with Xanax and refills as it blows the previous route out of the water and would have some long term implications if you did.

The concept is opportunity costs, and while waiting for the build up of "top gains" below the cap, you would otherwise be gaining more gains being inefficient with your points.  It's a question  of "How long does it take to double my stats" and the answer is: Fast enough that you shouldn't save up. That said, for stats over 50 million, you should save up and use them in bulk to max out the gains while being able to absorb the costs of edvds over a prolonged period of time.
