Hey guys
At my work a bunch of people are doing this thing with their money every month they call stokvel
I thought it would work great in torn
12 people join 1 for each month
every month every person involved sends 500 000 cash
I give you all your pay month and on that day you get $6000000

How is this even gambling? You're just giving cash to a "trusted" person to hold on to and then what?
Pretty sure Anons here would hesitate giving away cash without insurance/collateral from the collector. Else, this is just plain begging
Lol
Yeah its not gambling and the best place for it probably is trading but less about that ,i personally think its a great idea and its really strange it not a thing
umm giving strangers money as an “investment” is never a “great idea”.....
well in RL you don't do stokvel with strangers you do it with a trusted group mostly fellow workers ... i see it here more being run by staff /torn and having different levels of stockvel depending on different stuff like your level ,age, income ...
But there's no reason your faction or job cant also have something similar
I'm sure thy can make it automated to pay out so no one can take it out them self's.
I dont have to be the one keeping the cash ..its so 1 person gets all the cash every month so if we are 12 ppl you wil get one huge amount once a year ..
not gambling at all its like investing for a big bonus you loose nothing what you put in through the year you will get back all at once maybe I didnt explain it realy good
But do you really have to explain to some one what stokvel is ???
and people say the world is a small place ?!?
