it could bring in more players probably some casuals who just want to play poker or learn to play poker, they can instead of going to some other site play torn city poker.... they may even donate... possibilities are unlimited.

Progress has always felt very slow on Torn. It's only until you look at our weekly patch lists when you see the extent of work being done - which is in addition to all of the other projects. A record amount of player suggestions have been added this year, as well as a big focus on refreshing new areas which obviously don't feel as compelling as brand new content. Also had several big challenges which caused setbacks (the DDoS attacks for example).

Just in this quarter we've opened up Poker 2.0 in beta and made great progress so far, released the new gym which was rebuilt from scratch, released the 2FA authenticator, released Bookies 2.0 which was a mammoth project, started releasing weapon bonuses, released a rebuilt personal stats page, brand new Elimination scenario, hundreds of bug fixes... It's quite a lot when you think about it, in spite of the additional challenges. Quite an achievement when you consider that's within only 60 working days.

I fully expect Raiding to be out by the end of the year, and hopefully some big territory updates will be well on track by then too.

Crimes 2.0 is progressing well, but it is the biggest project we've ever done on Torn. It is in a state of constant development now which is great, and there's a very solid plan which is being followed. As explained in the past, each individual crime has unique mechanics, a levelling system and around 1,000 outcomes. It'll be out when it's out, and we likely won't release any further information until it's made available.

We will continue releasing minor updates like honours and daily events because why not? They take a very minimal amount of time to add and are clearly popular.

I suppose we're also being a lot more secretive with upcoming updates and trying not to announce specifics beforehand - under promise, over deliver is a definite aim of mine.

The newsletter is scheduled for October at some point, although we'll purposely not be mentioning many upcoming things. It won't contain much new information that hasn't already been disclosed.

Can we get a list somewhere of all the player suggestions that have been added? (perhaps even including all the honour bar suggestions) In the newsletter or just another thread would be cool to look at.

Alright thanks - as for the honours did you make a note of the ones suggested vs what you already had planned? I notice there are a few recognisable from that thread of ideas but it's obviously impossible to tell which ones you liked and hadn't already thought of.

If anything, the weekly patch shows a lack of progress; a dev team of between 15 and 20 making mediocre bug fixes and tiny changes. You are lauding a gym rebuild and personal stats page rebuild, the former being utter shit and pointless.

It's funny, every time someone points out the lack of progress you do the usual bullshit of making out what you have done is huge progress when in fact it is pointless work you've just done to hide the fact that other projects are taking so long.

You're also now going back on your claim that Crimes 2.0 will be complete by the end of the year, now you're saying "it'll be out when it's out."

It's unfortunate you value the opinion of the player so little and you insult everyone's intelligence. Continue wasting our donations and subscriptions on a shit dev team that only works on projects that will only result in you making more money. It's pretty obvious now how little you value the core game and you can see that we're all mindless sheep.
