Became a subscriber last month. Got this message in events today.

You have lost your Donator Status. You will no longer receive 5 energy every 10 minutes and your 150 energy bar has been reduced to 100. If you would like them back, please go here to donate again.

Surely I shouldn't have to renew a subscription?

I think you will be better off contacting payments@torn.com regarding this issue. It will get resolved from there.
