Does the inactivity of a director affect the company in any way(except stocks and trains not being distributed)?

If the company doesn’t require stock, will the company keep on earning even after the director goes inactive?

Let’s say that the company has the maximum number of employees working at maximum efficiency at the ideal positions.

Directly their is no effect but without trains employees will leave if their is prolonged inactivity and go somewhere else and that will decrease efficiency.

While true at some point trains become useless depending on the company you wish to be in since there's a cap at how effective an employee can be.

trains may be useless from your standpoint as a director, but if the director is wasting trains they are hindering the growth of their employees and some might leave.

I meant even after they reach 150% in the top tier companies like oil rig and TV station.  Just saying that with the caps it stagnates growth anyways.

This sucks. There's hard working people like me who are doing everything right and sitting at 1* week after week, despite higher income than some 8*+ companies...,

and people like: https://www.torn.com/profiles.php?XID=1912246#/

inactive director, sitting on a 8* company where every employee is inactive for 1000+ days. How does this make sense?

There were a lot of cyber cafes with at least 7* + which had inactive directors as well as employees, after a while, their stars decreased drastically and now there's only a few left. So i guess it just takes time really for stars to decrease , especially if there is a lot in a company.

Because he is actually running one of the best mechanics...

they are a very unpopular company so there are higher percentages for top star brackets, he will drop to 7* when the 5 companies (Thats right only 5 mechanics are beating a inactive director below 8*) gain the experience.

Staff will most likely leave if the director goes inactive.

Reason for this is, Staff like to be trained.

If the company has an advertising budget and no staff and no money the company is lost to the system.

I think, if a company does lose all funds and cannot pay its bills the money value of the company is returned to the director and the company is destroyed.
