So, I know that you get the hability to travel at level 15. But what do you get for traveling? Someone said it's the "Duke mission" or something but i honestly have no idea what is that... If someone could explain, I would be glad.
Why travel?

You can buy items from other countries, you then sell them at a profit to other players upon landing back in Torn iribuya's Visual Guide To Flying
Mentions: iribuya's Visual Guide To Flying
yeah you can make a couple mil a day from it if you're active enough and have the right perks
Nah, traveling is for noobs.
I only travel for that rehab!
let's say you fly to Canada and buy Wolverine plushies for $30 each. Go check the bazaar. How much are they selling for in Torn?
Then do the math.
Travelling is an important priviledge as it allows you to amass a nice amount of cash from buying plushies, flowers, drugs etc and selling them for a higher price on a bazaar.
Travelling is sooooo much fun! Why do you think so many people do it?
Basically it gives you the ability to make around 5m+ a day w/o much effort, plus a few merits to be obtained for total flight time, and # of times you fly to each place. ;)
Flying is one of the easiest merits to get. Then you can be a flower/plushie runner to amass some quick cash. Rehab is also important. And there's also hunting if you're that patient.
some people travel cz they can't play torn all day.
Traveling is boring as hell at the moment.
But it is a good thing to do, for game play purposes.
There are merits to be earned from traveling, which can be used to strengthen your character.
Also the profit earned from traveling is very good, dont spam that profit away in the casino spend it on training!
It is boring though.
15 honor bars and 3 medals for a total of 18 merit points.
Travelling can be used for a Duke mission (travel to another country and attack someone there). But the main aspects of travelling are to make money, rehab if your low on happy or have drug addiction and to store money inside Cayman's Bank. You can also go to China to visit the fortune teller, who gives you an idea of how close you are to your next level.
