Could someone please offer me some advice on how to achieve the max happiness merit?
-would I just take loads of eDVD's and then ecstasy with JP from game shop or?
-any and all advice is much appreciated.

Alternatively, the way I did it, was save up 330 job points in a 10-star Sweet Shop; used the 4,500 happiness special x 11 (49,500 happiness); doubled that with Ecstasy (99,000); remaining happiness from property.

Appreciate the advice but I want to stick at the game shop just for that job points for nerve, e and happiness as im aiming for high gym stats one day lol
You keep your job points of your old job when coming back to the same kind of business., so you can just hop
33 days if you live in a trailer, 30 days if you live in a fully decked out PI, literally just got done with it myself :)
