I just calculated out the number of races I entered by adding all my cars together, which is 657. Coincidentally, my driver skill is 6.57 as well.
Is this just a crazy coincidence? Or does your driver skill keep pace with the amount of races you enter at higher driver skills?
Coincidence, I'm sure. My DS is 18.7 and I've been in 3,857 races. That's a ratio of roughly 206 races per DS point. Your equivalent ratio is 100 races per DS point. As you can see, the higher your DS, the more races it takes to increase it an equivalent amount.

Silly us, thinking it had math in it.
Anyway... this is far from correct. No one knows the exact formula for driving skill. I keep thinking someday I'll try to figure it out, but then I realize it's hard and I'm lazy.
I can do 300 races without a bump, you are one lucky player :D
Lol I must be. I've been checking it for a while and 5.07 now, every race i do adds 0.01 to driver skill.
Only do official races not the custom ones
Perhaps there is a cap at which point the points gained reduce?

I get 0.03 from 100 laps dock races.
Thats not an official race but a custom race. Official race is only 5 laps. Perhaps every official race is 0.01 RP and custom are lot less to prevent abuse? Ie one could set up 1 lap races perhaps and gain the RP very fast so they reduce it. Also is there a reduced waiting time for custom, you can start right away?
Yes you can start a custom race almost immediately. It's something like a minute after the number of racers join up.

Perhaps. What would be interesting is to see how much skill is given for an 100 lap race vs a 1 lap custom race. At the moment I'm trying to get into the A class so then I can use the better cars... But it would be interesting to compare.
It would be a good test. Since the start I only drive official races. Now level A. Perhaps it goes up till 10.0 by one per race and after slows down..

Its something i dont even monitor anymore. Its 28.7 now.
I know its going up but its so infrequent it isnt worth looking everyday or even every week.
