I got scammed out of a welding helmet by Nikee [92639] who is now in federal jail for multiple accounts. Is there anyway I can get my item back?

The fact he is a cheater is of no consequence. Scamming is legal unfortunately. Scamming and cheating require a similar mindset. But scamming is not against the rules.
You should be Brave and never make a mistake like that ever again.
The scammer will do or say anything to get your stuff, dont give it to him.

If you got proof of the scam, i would say post it in bugs and issues forum and maybe a kind staff will slide you a wielding helmet from under the table.

This is delicate.
Looking at the scammer multis profile and forum posts he is a gambler.
This means he will have to scam field mice regulary to feed his gambling addiction.
It probably explains the cheating as well ...
You should post how he scammed you so other people are more aware.
If it was one of the side accounts that he had been scammed with then maybe it would be worth asking. Given it was the main account, and so not permanently fedded, as Grif said: No.

to be fair just now seeing this. i cant help he sold it to me for 200m i didnt scam him he just didnt know how much it was worth.

You will note he has now quit the game. Probably because of you or partially at least.
You should also stop cheating now before its too late ... i have seen you in fed a bit ..
YOU knew how much it was worth and didn't give him a fair price for it, so you did cheat him.
No he didn't, the guy selling it should have done more research, if someone sells it for less than its worth, it's their dumbass fault.
It's your moral duty to protect your neighbour's property from theft as you would your own. That's part of being a member of the human race.
