Chat not functioning selectively

Hi,

I'm having an issue with chat between me and my game spouse ( Badonk [2081559] ).  He's checked on his end and can open the chat and type in it, but I don't receive the chat and cannot open a chat with him on my end.  I've tested chat with other people on my friends list and have not been able to duplicate the issue.

I noticed that the link that appears when I hover over the chat box on his profile is for his profile page, not to open a chat. This does not happen when I hover over the chat link on anyone else's profile page.

Your assistance is appreciated.

UPDATE TO REPORT:  After monkeying around quite a bit, we were able to isolate the issue.  If the chat box was open in the Android app, even after logging out, it prevented the chat from opening when using the computer browser.  After logging into the app and closing the chat box, I was able to reopen it, both in the app and in the browser.  Apparently, it was "hanging" when open only in the app.

Yes.  It was resolved by closing the chat window that was open in the Android app and then upon reopening it, it also opened the chat window in the browser.  It seems to me this is an app bug.  My issue is resolved.  The app issue may not be, though.  Just something to watch for.
