NEED SOME ADVICE

Sadly i'm trying to run a company before but it won't work the way i want

In this thread i need some advice from experienced players that have run a company succefully. Need some advice on how a company work like ADVERTISING, HIRNG A PLAYERS, HOW TO MANAGE IT. Can i started the company with just 2 employees??

I hope all of you can teach me with your experienced.

1) Advertisement should be around 400k~. (This is for newer companies, around 0* to 4*. For higher star, the advert should be 600k to 1mil)

2) Order stock for the day after tommorow

3) The best company position setup is 2 sexperts, 1 receptionist, 1 store manager and rest sales assistants. (This has worked for me, different companies will have different optimal position.

4) Adult novelties don’t need employees who produce stock, you just buy them

5) Keep the prices 1.25x of RRP

6) You should have all the business education completed if you want to run a successful company

 

1, adverts aren't affected by stars so why does it make a difference what star the company is.

2, fill your stock to its capacity with the ratio that your items sell.

3, depends on quality of staff.

4, horray is correct

5, far from optimal

6, or be working on it whilst your company develops.

I have found that having the bussiness courses done has made a huge impact on running my company, So I would venture for you to start there. There are courses in MTH2280 and LAW2100 (both require you take the initial 1 week course before) that will help with your advertising.

also dont be afraid to post what you are looking for in trade chat (JUST DONT SPAM THE CHAT)

There are a couple people out there doing services for finding employees for you now in the company recruitment and discussion threads.

I think  a good peice of advise I got was to look at the top 10-15 companies in your feild ( so AN for you) and see how those companies
have their employees stacked up.

Anther really good one will be using tornstats to check employee effectiveness in certain positions, to help you make sure that everyone is producing to the best of their abilities.

The last one is just be a good director. I know its a game, but I thought it was cool how the old FC I worked for the director would chat every now and then about if we were doing good in the ranks or what we needed to work on. Provide encentives if you can. but a good word goes a long way.
