I think a lot of people would of guessed at least one if not multiple bombs would have dropped by now.  So at this point with both sides having huge arsenals is this like the cold war?  Will anyone push the mutual destruction button?  Or do you think no one will?

This poll is just for DB's coming from Insurgency or JF Alliance side toward each other.

I'm actually quite shocked that nothing spectacular has happened yet. By this point, I was expecting some fallout with all the hype that's been surrounding DBs but alas

Insurgency will. 

They have very little self control, they jump into decisions head first without thinking of the consequences and are desperate to become relevant. 

They will use a dirty bomb, get squished by JF Family and then call JF cheaters or committee leaks etc etc

With all the big egos that have DBs I’m thoroughly surprised and disappointed one hasn’t dropped yet. You young pups are lucky TMB are keeping our cards close to chest

DBs are anonymous...  JF Family will probably drop one on themselves and then blame Insurgency so they can retaliate in kind.

Or vice versa...

If I remember right..... it seems to go something like this:

1) a far amount of shit talking while nothing happens.

2) Some smaller kinda random person takes the first bomb drop for glory.

3) The large factions get called out for not being the first drop.

4) More shit talk.

5) A large faction goes for it, waaaaar, couple weeks where dirty bombs being dropped is the new normal.

6) Prices inflate, money is spent, conclusions are reached.

7) Relatively boring time returns

 

I would be happy to see something different from this pattern this go around though.

Dirty bombs are just another thing people hyped up. In reality, dropping billions on another faction for minimal losses is only "decent" if you're already at war.

As of now, dropping one randomly is like a fart in the wind for a faction. If dropping a DB did something that was significant they could be dropped to initiate a war but they seem to only be okay. Bountying people at 2M per person would probably be more cost efficient + detrimental.

Doubt either side will drop one, both sides are pretty coordinated, I was personally hoping on some random db's on launch, but sadly that did not happen (yet)

Hmm, I'm guessing that final preparations are being done atm, since it has been confirmed this afternoon that db's and such are actually released and not "soon".

Certain sides are just waiting and anticipating the other side for now...

Disappointed that it’s 5% + a random ‘small’ amount, small if your faction has 3m+ respect anyways.

The hosp time and stat reductions would make an interesting territory clean up I guess, was hoping there’d be some action by now at least. 

Back on topic though, I think Insurgency will be the first attacker.

 You're disappointed a big faction, 3m respect as you say, would lose up to 220k-250k respect from a dB?

I'd say that's quite a significant amount considering how cheap they are for factions the size you're referring to...

It should be insurgency, they want to "dethrone JFK" by war (according to the newspaper). My best guess is they are preparing for a decisive first strike, nuke supported territorial assault, right now.
