I would say wait until you get some experience and level up a bit to make yourself a more attractive prospect. Also, unless you're looking for something non-Torn related, don't be fussy about gender. Who knows who it really is on the other end of the internet anyway?

just find any other very new player and marry them. You have a 90% chance they will quit in 6 months, and then you will get all of the marriage merits without the hassle of a spouse. If your spouse quits, you still get the merits/
