OP has a fair point. Slow justice is also an injustice. Best to perm ban them all if it takes this long to provide a picture of octuplets holding up usernames and id's all around one computer.

I've heard the same complaint regarding how long it takes for staff to reply several times now (mmcp members aside). Is this really a thing, and if so, why? It seems like a long time to me, especially knowing a few were released from fed after appeal.
Does anyone remember the WSSB insider information scandal? I bought a BB of WSSB around that time, and it was a legitimate purchase and only one BB. Using the guilt-by-association measure, I could have been temporarily fedded just because I bought a BB of stock at the wrong time (I was not fedded). Anyone needing a refresher on the details read:

Compare this incident to the MMCP situation. What if you were targeted, flamed and otherwise harassed because you innocently bought a stock block in the middle of a scandal?
As for MMCP, some players broke the rules. Some most likely knew but did not interfere. And some players, especially newer ones or ones who don't participate in faction chat or activities, did not know and were in the wrong place at the wrong time.
We all owe those innocent players the benefit of the doubt. It could be any of us. Even senior players are sometimes temporarily fedded and released, or have assets stripped and then returned.
HavokGDI is noting that players from Myanmar not even associated with MMCP are being targeted, and players from other Southeast Asian countries as well. In real life, I had a friend from India targeted after the 9-11 bombing because some people thought he "looked like a Muslim".

It is. I was just recently, wrongly, fedded for multis. I filed a fed report.. 24 hours, no reply. I went to the "contact staff" page, and was basically told "file a fed report and wait".
Another 24 hours went by. Nothing. Eventually, I happened to check the contact staff page again, just as bogie was responding to Tarun, who had the same problem (we were hit by multihunter for trading with multis unknowingly). Granted, as soon as bogie knew the story, we were out within 20 minutes.. But had he not been in that chat, God only knows how long we would have sat there before our fed reports were looked at..
And we were completely innocent :/
Wssb cannot really be compared to this case though..
Wssb was a one of suspicion that something was leaked, due to which all investments with profits upwards of 1b were undone, not a single person was fedded.
This case against mmcp is the third huge streak of feds on them in less than three years, and there's been many before that.
People targeted during the wssb scandal were also generally better at handling it because most did nothing wrong and they actually knew what they were doing (making a solid investment the at the time?)
