If people had an option to delete their thread and still decide the flood the forum such as the above user, there would be a legitimate reason to punish them for their actions.
Although, I agree they are clearly doing it intentionally to be annoying. Still I think the option to self-grave would be useful to other users - or just let the thread die naturally which is the normal thing to do.

Say you are buying or selling something in the trade forum, wouldn't be nice to be able to grave it yourself after the transaction occurs so it's not taking up space on the board?
You could also report your own thread to accomplish it without being a moron... and if it's just 1 thread instead of a multitude, that's less moronic as well. I R+'d the suggestion. I'm just pointing out that there are other less moronic ways already.
