Republicans were saying the same thing last year, they disagreed along party lines and they provided no evidence or timeline to suggest a "report" was imminent. In fact, Burr is basically confounding the issue by starting the statement off by saying that there is an ongoing investigation about a conspiracy (a crime) and then goes on to talk at length about collusion (not a crime).

There's no revelations here, particularly given that Burr and Warren would require some kind of written notice from SCO to that effect.

Just about all the people indicted were for “lying to the FBI” about irrelevant shit that had nothing to do with Russia or collusion.  That is why lawyers say don’t talk to them unless you are forced too. If you miss remember or have personal details you don’t want out or embarrassed about an lie they can then bust you.

 

nore important question is why was there never an investigation into Obama using the irs to target his political oppositions donors? 

 

Why was there no investigation into hillary for server and Benghazi? What about Clinton’s and sale of nuclear material and money getting put into their foundation? What about Obama seeing emails from hillary that were not from .gov so he New she was using non govt emails!

Lying to the fbi and lying to Congress is typically done by people (within this or similar political context) who think a pardon is in the works. It's what is done to avoid further incriminating themselves.

Ivanka and Jared are also doing this exact same thing. Ivanka even claimed she had no idea it was wrong to do so. Jared's possibly going to again lose his security clearance since he's still full of shit. If you're going to blame one side for doing one thing, then you have to blame the other side for the same thing.

Obama would have been able to do so given he was still President at the time he made those statements. Problem with Trump is that he was trying to wheel and deal on foreign policy (sanctions) when he was a candidate and when he was president-elect but hadn't been sworn in. There's a significant constitutional issue with having two POTUS's (one acting) trying to conduct their own foreign policy.
