We here at R pride ourselves on efficiency. So when we learned Love Juice would be in effect for a full 48 hours, we decided to go for a 25k chain.
The Insurgency decided to use this time to take action on our JFx counterparts, and indeed we did, putting the vast majority of their members in hospital and breaking several chains along the way. Cheers to Sugarvalves for predicting the Valentine's Day Massacre!
Then, at about 24.1k hits into our chain, notification of a dirty bomb hit. All of our members without hazmats that were stuck in Torn spent their remaining E and booster CD, while the remainder waited to see if the bomb was actually on us.

Even before 18:00 TCT when we knew it was going to go off, hits from our enemies started coming in. More or less as predicted, JFx decided to attempt to break our chain in a coordinated response to our hits.

A mere hour and a half later, R had completed their new fastest chain (though not as fast as IBB did earlier today).
Aside from ENORMOUS lag while Torn's algorithms were going through all online players and dealing out radiation, our chain was never even close to in danger of breaking.
We here at R, and perhaps I speak for those of us in the Insurgency as well, congratulate JFx for their valiant attempt at a chain break.
More importantly, thank you to all our Insurgency friends and family and those who helped revive. You guys rock.
