im looking for a good first person shooter. More realistic in nature ( like call of duty, battlefield, not doom ). With full controller support on pc. Most of the Call of Duty games either have no controller support or still have a 50-100 price tag. Im not looking to spend that cash on a game i wont play too often. Any good titles that can play well and are fun to solo in. Any with survival modes would be nice. If they are on steam even better. Looking to not break the bank, unless its a highly recommended game

Left4Dead, Borderlands, Fallout (start with FO3), Bioshock...those are the fps' I love.
oooh bioshock never thought of that. ill go see pricing.
It will probably go on sale around Christmas time on Steam.
You might be able to get a cheaper key on Humble.
Missread the word title as ‘titties’. Thought I was gonna learn a new abbreviation for boobs.
:(
Quality vs Price i would suggest Battlefield 1: Revolution Edition - 13.69€ at CDKeys. BF V is about to come out, but still...
But anyways there is a lot of other good deals in there.
Also Destiny 2 is still free to get up to today, but i guess that would fall under the not realistic ones... (dunno at what time today it does expire).
Can't really suggest many things as i'm not the biggest FPS fan... What i do play atm is GTA V (calling it a FPS is a bit of a stretch though), PlayerUnknowns Battlegrounds, BF1, Fallout 76 and Ghost Recon Wildlands...
You'd get shit on playing pc multiplayer games with a controller.
Steam have amazing black friday sales, as do other providers. Dont rush into buying anything, chances are you'll pay full price and then see it on steam for 90% discount.
Steam prices suck though, even at Black Friday. If you are not planing on returning the game CDKeys is the cheapest option i know of.
The only things i end up buying in steam are indie games that are still not available else were (or games that are still in development), otherwise its either CDKeys for the AAA ones, or Humble Bundle where at the very least i get 10% over the steam price from the humble monthly.
But then again this all comes down to were you live, since steam prices fluctuate a lot depending on location.
COD is not realistic.
You want realism go with ARMA 3 or Squad.
BF1 and BFV are ok, but the problem is most people play them as a DOOM CQB. Just a bunch of mindless rushing and tit for tat killing with only those using cheats rising above the crop.
I'd suggest if you are serious getting skilled, and finding squads/servers, where they play a tactical game, as opposed to a bunch of whiny 12 year olds running around like maniacs.
G2A
I've had very good luck with this site purchasing discounted STEAM keys. I have a couple buddies that also use this one.
Green Man Gaming
G2A is not as bad as steam... Green Man Gaming is close to the same as steam and the same as Humble Bundle or Fanatical.
But anyways unlike HB, Fanatical, GOG, GMG who sell copies directly gotten from the developers, G2A, Indiegala, CDKeys, OpiumPulses ... all sell copies they acquired elsewhere (at least it was last i checked). Now this does not mean they are not legitimate copies or that they wont work, it just means they got their keys likely in a place where the game is sold a lot cheaper and resell it for a small profit to users with higher prices...
With that said, of them all the cheapest by far in most cases seems to be CDKeys, i've saved many hundreds of euros there, and never had any issue that wasn't promptly solved, although receiving a hard cover photo as an activation key may not let everyone at ease. xD
All and all to say, if you want a legitimate steam activation code directly from the developers with 0 issues ever attached, you are fine with Fanatical, Humble Bundle, GMG and Steam itself (dunno if GOG is still selling steam keys, they seem to have gone the DRM free path lately) just need to find the best price.
If you want to save a few bucks there is the other alternatives... I can vouch for CDKeys... Not so much for IndieGala or OpiumPulses for example though, their support sucks. G2A is just a bit more expensive than CDKeys so no point there.
i used CD keys to get a good copy of Black ops 2 for 5 $. Thanks for letting me know of this great site
I only deal with Origin or Steam, sometimes a family member deals with Humble
I really wish though you could still get the media on thumdrives, after they've released a significant patch or 2. In my region, many are choked at between 50-100GB data usage, and pay $$$ for extra. Or the bandwidth is so poor that you are taking days to download games.
this is why i have not yet gotten Fallout 76, not ready to use my entire months data usage for one game, especailly one with so many bugs. DIEHARD Bethesda and Fallout fan though. Literally over a thousand hours between 3, new vegas and 4
Don't think that just by fixing the bugs Fallout 76 will become a great game. Its ok to pass some time, yes, its a decent game, but it will never be a great game, it has very little depth and has almost nothing new. So you might be better off spending your data on something else, at least in my personal opinion.
Anyways, @Hoch with what you save in buying the games elsewhere you can probably pay for the extra data. On BF V or Fallout 76 for example both are 20€ cheaper on CDKeys than in Origin or Bethesda (where the game is on sale already), and that are games that are a few days old, on older games the difference is even steeper.
Apparently Pete Hines has been absent from Twitter since Fallout 76 release. So unlike him being the PR and Marketing captain.
Well i personally recommend DOOM its a bit old but still quite fun.
2016
I have doom sir :)
also loving rainbow six siege right now
I personally play Rainbow 6 Siege because it's realistic and based largely on modern militaries and tech. Aside from the Operation Chimera which Ubisoft brought in just for kicks. It was basically just a temporary zombie mode. Since then it's been quite real.
Aside from that, I've heard MANY good reviews of Arms 3 but my PC is not monsterous enough to take on that level of a game.
Anything else, CS GO is free now I believe. Most Tom Clancy games are realistic and fun and I love all of them. Happy gaming
