I drank some beers to 15 nerve did an 11 nerve crime. That was ok, it left me with 4 nerve. Drank more beers until 14 nerve waited until the tick for the extra 1 nerve to make it 15 nerve for a 15 nerve crime. Had 15 nerve. Selected kidnap mayor. Was told I do not have enough nerve to do the crime for another 55mins, the nerve bar went down to 4. Cooldown was at 20hours for the beers so I definitely drank them, and was penalised for it, but the nerve disappeared without committing a crime.

You won't have lost the Nerve, it would have been used on the last crime you did and by the sounds of it, attempted to do it twice, but because you didn't have the required amount of Nerve left, you were told you didn't have enough.

I don’t see how it would be used on the previous crime as I had enough nerve and that was removed upon completing the 11nerve crime. I failed 11nerve crime, and was hospitalised, medded out and drank the beer again waited for it to reach 15 and then opted for a 15 nerve kidnap mayor. Then got the error message and missing nerve. Please advise, many thanks.
I have this issue quite frequently (particularly while on mobile with other tabs open). The game seems to retain my last crime option, and simply clicking Crimes to travel to that page, it burns the nerve on the last crime I did.

You had 15 nerve, and did an 11 nerve crime. You then drank some more beer and once you had 15 nerve, you went to attempt a 15 nerve crime - but it had already been automatically used on the 11 nerve crime - without displaying the result. This resulted in the error you received.

Yes, had 15nerve and I did an 11 nerve crime, failed went to hospital, medicated out of hospital, drank more beer waited for 15 nerve and navigated to 15kidnap mayor, nerve vanished to 4 and was unable to do the 15 nerve crime. Thank you Stewie.

I don't see any issue, you used 11 Nerve from 15 and ended up with 4. You then used beer items up to 14 and waited to get 15 and then another 11 Nerve crime was done.
Please use the confirmed report on the issue of automatic usage of Nerve without displaying the result. Thanks.

I clicked kidnap mayor not arson so there is a bug present, it’s just reverted to the previous crime as I’ve gone in to crimes. Perhaps Indent has identified it above in the post as he’s mentioned he’s had a similar issue.

Regardless if you clicked Hacking (Don't do that if you don't want to damage your Nerve bar failing :P), Search for Cash, or even Shoplifting. It would have still automatically used the 11 Nerve on the last crime you did - which was Arson Warehouse. That is the bug.
