GrassLandGone [2220934]
Ok, so 2 people attacked me over the time that I was absent from Torn; 2 or 3 days. I'm a bit concerned now, am I a leveling target or something? Here's the details:

oMy name is GrassLandGone
oI'm a level 10
oMy stats are all about 230 or so,
oBoth people who attacked me just left me on the street
oI have had no contact with both people who attacked me, but one of them has attacked me before

Help

Idk why theyre attacking me

Tell me if I'm just overreacting pls

You're overreacting. Welcome to Torn. You are going to be attacked in this game. You are probably going to be attacked a lot. Your success is going to depend somewhat on how you react to this fact. Train your stats, train them hard. Keep meds on hand at all times just in case, and don't try and read too deeply into what is likely just random.

Nothing to lose sleep over.  Most likely random... the fact they left you on the street means they were probably chaining.. Just keep training and move on :)

Leaving you in the street gives the most experience points, so people trying to level up will do this rather than mug you or hospitalize you.

If one of the people attacked you before, then he may have chosen you again because he knows you're an easy target for him.

It doesn't sound like anyone has a vendetta against you. Then they'd mug or hospitalize you. I don't think you suffer any ill effects from being left in the street. (Someone will surely correct me if I'm wrong.) You're not losing money, and you don't have to use medical items or wait to get out of the hospital.

If these two people continue to attack you, you might ask a stronger player to help you or put bounties on them.

There are ways to increase your battle stats more quickly in the tutorials section of the forum. And as you level up, your life points will increase, so it'll take more to win attacks against you.

Yeah I think it's just a coincidence, if u attack someone and u leave him it give u more experience than u pickpocket him or hospitalize.

Are you in Torn?
Do you have a pulse?
Are your stats less than Trillions?

If you answered yes to these questions, you will be attacked. It's not an IF... It's a WHEN. I just got attacked today while I was away.

It's not a coincidence, it's by design. If you leave someone on the street, it has the least potential impact to that player thus you gain more respect. If you mug someone, you potentially hurt them financially as well as slightly increased hospital time, so your experience is throttled down more. If you hospitalize, you are putting them in the hospital for a significant amount of time which further impacts their gameplay, so again, the experience is throttled down.
