How to get scammed 3 times in a row

1).  Thank you for setting a decent example on how to handle being scammed, you didn't make a whine post, or ask for help, you just accepted defeat.  You didn't even bring your daughter up until the PoS insisted on badgering you about it.  Instead of being happy they had the biggest scam I've seen in my short time here, they were mad you didn't cry and beg.

2).  I will also use this to be a better trader and make sure I triple check, so thanks for helping me out in that regard 

3).  My daughter died in 2015, I relapsed on dope because I needed an escape, and couldn't cope.  It's easy to judge someone from the outside, with limited info, but I fully understand how someone can only spend so much time in their current reality before needing a break.  Your family is lucky that for you, that means logging onto a phone game here and there, most of us don't have that in us.  Most of us crumble under the slightest pressure, much less the prospect of a parent outliving their young children.  If Torn is a good escape, use it, and if it is causing you more stress, then step away for a bit. 

It's easy to forget there's a human behind the screen name, but that's not an excuse to treat people badly.  Scam, mug, bounty, and steal if you want.  But leave it at that, you shouldn't need to masturbate over the thought of tormenting others, that's sociopathic.

Seriously, this guy's daughter may be very ill, and that's horrible for the whole family. But if he's being honest about everything, he's logging on for entertainment. Maybe it comforts him to get well-wishes and virtual hugs...

I especially like this part you wrote in your opening post...

For me, my hope is in the story I'll one day get to tell my grandkids. To share with them how I overcame tremendous odds, stood tall in the face of danger, or overcame depression by helping others through trying times. Because they'll go through tragedy too at some point, and I want them to have the benefit of knowing strength can overcome all. If my struggles can help them, then there I've found purpose for my pain...

Please be kind. I know I troll often, but a friend confided some of his recent struggles and I'm hoping he can find a sense of belonging here when he realizes he's not alone. And just maybe, he'll pick up a few tips to coping with things.

Very touching. But in light of your pathetic attempt to troll in this thread it does beg the question just how authentic your "serious" thread was. Or was it just so people could open up in front of you, for you to use against them when you felt being openly sociopathic again?
