I had a max nerve bar of 39, 30 NNB and 9 merits based. I wasn't playing for about an hour, and now it is 34 max. Anyone know why this would happen?

I've never lost my nerve before. I didn't know you could, and it is normal. Is it from getting busted at crimes?
That it is - Red fails of a crime, where you end up in jail, take a hit to your crime exp, and as you have just seen, to your nerve bar eventually. What crimes are you doing?
Being jailed from crimes does lower your crime experience.

I am doing pawn shop, but after reading some posts, I think I will go do arson instead for now.
pawn shop has a high failure rate, stick with arson
Failing some Organize Crimes from faction can also cause this.
Did fail crime and arrested count or crime fail and hospitalize also decrease ce.i mean on oc u talk about.
