hi guys,

im just curious regarding battle stats, is it best to stay unbalanced or balanced, my stats are near enough balanced.
i have seen some stuff of people with higher defence and dexterity lose to players with incredibly lower strength and speed, is it worth wasting all the cash and energy on training defence and dexterity if its just going to get beaten by a player with incredibly lower strength and speed.

in my opinion this makes defence and dexterity pointless training?

would love to have a friendly debate and see others opinions...

You need all stats. It's true that whoring dexterity for example isn't necessarily a good idea unless you can afford infinite SEs, as considerably lower speed will punch through it, but it's still an extremely useful stat in the mid range.

Pound for pound balanced is the best on average, but people whore for multiple reasons. Whoring particular stats allows the use of special gyms so that you can train faster for one thing. And those that train using SEs exclusively will whore stats because it's far more effective to take a defensive stat out to invincible range than to remain balanced.

Seemingly balanced is the term I prefer. Unlocking special gyms requires us to specialize on a pair of stats, either dex/def or str/spd. Whichever you fancy. A more aggresive player, usually prefer to boost their str/spd gain since they do lots of attacks.

That saying, don't neglect a pair too far behind. Keep it just enough that you can catch up later on. Lots of people have proven that whoring a specific stat doesn't work.

I'd always recommend staying somewhat balanced, a ratio I am going for is something like: 40 25 25 10. Though I can only recommend mucking about with different ratios once you're past the stat cap on them all. focus on that first

Okay thank you guys, considering ive had 5 responses saying keep the stats somewhat balanced, i will not keep them balanced but ill keep tgem in close range of eachother.

Thank you guys

Stay balanced.

If you are going for special gyms and have a strategy that's one thing but if your unbalanced you are weakening yourself.

Marlon is an example of unbalanced stats allegedly.

I'd say this pretty much sums it up.

That said, mission targets seem easier with balanced stats because you can use a temp to sway their high stat(s) closer to be on your level.
I know that mission targets are preferred just in case your faction doesn't have fake wars with people who you can easily beat.

There is a curious use for Dexterity in fake wars though, given the weapon choice for them (Rusty sword)..

If the Accuracy vs Dexterity equation gets rebalanced people are going to scream "omg speed is useless."..

Honestly how I feel about it is that weapon accuracy should be limited to be weaker than what it is now.... something like making it so Speed can only be doubled by weapons and how you get there doesn't matter but it is capped at double.... and add something that can up to double Dexterity so it remains somewhat balanced.
