Do self defense course, unlock kick and then kick your spouse as much as you want.
You cannot stop them from living in your Property whilst being married to you.
You would have to divorce them!

Your property is rented, so you can't use the vault. No problem here.
A no divorce solution would be to rent another palace, or even a PI and then move there without inviting your spouse.

Your spouse can move into any property you own or rent. No invite is required.

I think "invite" in this case may have meant outside of game mechanics, i.e. don't tell their spouse that they rented a new one lol
