My thoughts? Spammers suck.
What the hell is a storage container?
Moved to non-related :)
Storage Units in Canada are a big deal.
There are reasons for this.
A study has shown that on average, Canadian homes have very little storage. Now of course with new construction this is changing, as we prepare for the influx of high breeding pairs of newcomers, who seem to prefer square footage to a traditional back yard with a spot for a pool and a treefort.
Storage though can be a silent economic killer. That monthly trickle on your budget. By the time everything is summed up, expect about $100 per month give or take.
“Across the entire GTA, there’s about 3.4 square feet of storage available per person compared with the U.S. where the national average is about 7.8,”
Gives an example of what I was referring to.
The storage unit industry in Canada has been booming for about 20 years and has lots of growth opportunity.
Another solution is to buy a storage container and either rent some space in one of those outdoor storage lots where they store boats and RVs, or if you have the space put one on your property. However, local zoning bylaws may have some restrictions you should examine first. In some jurisdictions, the storage containers (8x20, 80x40) have to be painted a low visible colour. Tan, Grey, Greens that are natural tones. In my area I can pick up a unit for under $3k CDN. Nice thing about these units you own them, you can configure them to a huge range of purposes, they are easily resalable, and many companies offer pickup and transport services.
If you go with a storage facility, make sure security is established properly, and that the owner(s) are not some shady outfit, who will simply disappear with your goodies one day, on their way back to Iran.
