Join an active, friendly faction and get live advice via chat with them. Most will offer free weapons and armour, meds, boosters and drugs to chain with. But advice is your nost valuable thing for now until you get settled in.
So far so good, just dont beg for money. It ends up as bounties and bounties are not fun
