It's a cool phone but drops calls like crazy my Samsung 8 rarely did this Google pixel does an update every day kinda stupid doing a restart daily but I've been at it for weeks hoping this will stop dropping calls

I have a Pixel 3XL since last Oct. Never had any of your issues.
- Don't notice the `update` notification often, maybe once every few weeks.
- No call drops, just your phone mate.
- Battery life is still pretty good, can get through 1 1/2 day typically with average use of personal and work purposes (Whatsapp, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, BBC/Google News, Microsoft Teams/Skype for Business, Outlook)

Did you buy the phone from a carrier or from google? If you bought if from google it'll have the antennas/bands needed to use GoogleFi. Might be a option to see if you can get better service with that particular phone. I know it works with the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3a. I'm not sure about the XL though.
