Sometimes you see funny town names like broken bow, or yellowknife, descriptive english names for some observation someone made 150 years ago. You think in 150 years there will be towns in northern Maine named slow internet, handsy uber or bad cell signal?

I've been to Intercourse, Pennsylvania

Pretty sure we'll have suburbs and towns called Tindertown and Memeville eventually

Stumptown, Virginia. Apparently the name comes from a forest that was severely over-logged by a wealthy lumber merchant. See Loudoun Discovered Vol. II by Eugene M. Scheel for more.

There is also a Hell in Michigan.

Several years ago on a Canadian radio show called the sad goat, no it was called Richardson's Roundup.(Though at the time it may not have been Richardson hosting anymore, and just had the name Roundup.. Though it still had the sad goat. So They were trying to see if they could make a whole body with all the body parts that are in the names of towns and rivers in Canada. Well someone called in and said there was a small town called Devil's Rectum. Although looking at a map and looking on the internet I can not find it.

most names are like that, they dont sound weird today because the language they use has become old/obsolote/not used anymore.

A new sign for Nymph, AL was posted on I65 last year.

Haven't stopped there yet.

I also passed through Romulus, AL a few months ago. I don't think there's a Remus. You would think it would nearby if it exists.
