1. What is karma rating?
2. What is it used for?
3. How does it work?
4. How can you judge someone by looking at their karma?

This is new to me. Thanks in advance for those who answer my questions.

1. Karma rating is just the likes you get for everything you post on forums. (It does go down whenever you get a dislike.)

2. It's a big secret that hasn't been revealed yet. But if you want my opinion it's just a way for people to realize whether or not your post is worth the reads. Let's say you post a new guide on something and if people like your guide then the likes you get will bring more people to your read your thread.

3. You get a like. :) AND BAM one KARMA for you ^.^

4. Well the more the karma the more interested others will be on it. It's like views and likes on youtube. The more likes you get the more people will be interested in your video. It's a way to show whether your post is legit or not.

Let's assume you somehow manage to get a ton of likes on post or guide that you started.
If I see more dislikes I will be least likely to open that thread. If I see a ton of likes on that post then I would be more interested to read it and give more likes to you.
