While useful, I don't see this being a worthwhile investment of developer time considering that the current "Stack" functionality has been this way forever, the advantage / time saving would be minimal, and we're already working on plans to entirely replace this stock system.

The suggestion you've put forward would require a fairly substantial UX rebuild that simply wouldn't be worth it currently.

There comes a point at which "Suggestions" becomes nothing more than a karma farm. I see a lot of "well this would be cool but 2.0 is coming soon so nah not gonna bother putting effort into that", with this time-frame ranging quite wildly from days to years. So many simple ideas seem to slip through the cracks in areas of the game that we are still waiting on.

Perhaps you could sticky a topic of areas in which suggestions are pointless because development time is scarce or there's a whole rebuild planned, and we can all stop wasting our time.
