Like Prophet_Jonasty said, this is the 'Fun & Games' subforum. The 'Questions & Answers' would be the right section, seeing you have a question and want it answered.
Good luck and have fun, mate!

The fastest way to success is to read the guides.
Talk to experienced players in good factions not new players or players under six months.
Figure out what you wish to do ie faction soldier or reviver etc etc
Plan your path to it.
A faction soldier will need battle stats and strong sense of participation for the faction.
So read up on training and as importantly read how to fund that training in a manner that suits you long term.
Consistency in training over the months and years will be more rewarding stats wise than doing a few happy jumps then "slacking off".

Buy the piggy bank with your mission points early on and dump extra funds in it to save for your private island. Read every single guide, bit of advice, and forum post you can. Have fun. Don't quit. Try not to carry a lot of cash. Points are a relatively liquid way to store cash. Learn how to make money and keep it safe. Read about nerve and avoiding jail. Racing is fun. Don't buy a company until you're certain you can make it profitable. Don't level hold before 15. Don't beg. Find trustworthy direct traders. Before asking questions, utilize all your resources to try to find the answers yourself (but don't hesitate to ask if you're still stuck).
