Anyone on here keep up with the ufc on a regular basis?

This weekend we will see 2 title fights.
First for the womens bantamweight title where Amanda Nunes looks to defend 1 of her 2 belts from Holly Holm in what should be an easy win for Nunes if you ask me. Not taking anything away from Holm but Nunes is on her shit lately.

And then the Light Heavyweight title is on the line when Thiago "Maretta" Santos looks to upset Jon Jones in his first title attempt. He has a great shot at beating him if he can connect early and often, but if it goes past the 2nd round it should be a smooth ride for Bones. Anything can happen though.

We also have the interesting matchup up an undefeated Ben Askren who has quickly become a fan favourite looking to neutralize the punching power of Jorge Masvidal. You can be sure to catch a 3-piece and a soda in that one.

The other 2 fights on the card are Jan Blachowicz vs Luke Rockhold and Diego Sanchez vs Michael Chiesa at light heavyweight and welterweight, respectively.

Should be a fun night of fights ahead. Hopefully they dont disappoint lol.

Oh wow I didnt realise I had replies lol.

Yeah that was a helluva fight night. Knockouts galore!

That masvidal flying knee was by far one of the coolest knockouts I've seen. (I still say yair up elbow on zombie at the final bell of a 5 round fight was the best)

Nunes kicked Holmes head into next year aswell.

And Santos actually put up a very impressive fight. Especially considering bring a wounded animal for most of that fight. Big ups to Jones for not f**king thiagos knee up for life. He really could have if he wanted. Amazing professionalism.

As big an Askren fan as I am, the dude went for a lazy takedown and got absolutely detonated. As far as Jones, I am disappointed in how he seemed to either toy with or be too scared of Santos to engage. And the dude had a torn knee, like...

I saw jones as fighting smart. Santos has devastating power in those hands. You could even see it whenever jon rushed in Santos still would catch him and make him back off. It was a great chess match. Man if only Santos wasn't injured he may have had enough to win... we may never know though.

Santos is born as a tank, the docs said its miracle level stuff that he was magically fighting with those torn up knees, he wasn't supposed to be able to even walk. Plus as long as he's standing, he could floor any man on this planet if they don't have full guard up and distance to move, even Jon Jones. Jon seemed to just have high focus and low ego that day, which is good for his skull and his record.
