You wake up on the 1st April (probably not realising that it's the first April) and sign in to your Torn account and see that everything's gone. You have only $500, 10x lollipops and 20 small chocolate boxes. You don't live in a private island anymore, but you live in a Soviet Union style block of flats like everybody else.

How long would it take you to realise that Torn has turned into communism and is ruled by Chedalin's iron fist? How long would it take you to realise that it's just April fool's day and everything will return normal tomorrow?
Would you rage quit Torn for awhile or find it funny?

Has there ever been such April Fool's "joke" on Torn before?

As a socialist I welcome the block of flats and Iron fist, I'm already getting $500, 10 lollipops and 20 small boxes of chocolates, who said socialism doesn't work? I might get diabetes, hopefully the healthcare is good.

The April Fools a few years ago where the main page after logging in was covered in spammy looking ads (that all led to parts of the city / site) was fantastic. Instantly made me think I had transported back to 2003.

might be mad for a minute, but life goes on whether or not torn is played. i likely wouldnt have it in me to start again from full wipe, but thats just me.

Best April Fool's Torn prank was missed... Ched could have "rolled out" Crimes 2.0 on April 1st, but actually just put out something with a silly interface that didn't burn nerve or run any crimes.
