What I think, it might be because money goes directly to hand and you can't hand someone money if you're not physically there. The only case where you could send money anytime anywhere would be the bank deposit which is not the case here in torn.
Because opening the window of a plane and throwing $14 out won't exactly be helping anyone. If they added a "Wire money" option for your laptop, that'd be pretty neat.
Because 99% of tornians would prolly lose it in the sky before it got to the other person and then we'd have people demanding the church fund repay them for their lost money.

Exactly. Maybe putting a bounty can be done online. But then why couldn't you do the same for electronic money transfers?
