I know how subscriptions work and how crypto works before someone says you can't do it.
You pay for donator packs, but you don't get subscriber bonus like bonus 2 items at the end of the month.
Crypto Subscribe could act as a pre-paid thing.
Make it for 3 months, 6 and 12 months. At the end of the period you have 24 hours to pay to keep the subscription going. If it ends it's just like someone canceling a card and chosing a new bank.

Why is this important?
Poor countries like the one I live in, have no paypal or amazon support. It's impossible to open paypal here. So offering us crypto subscription would be amazing.
Thanks for your time.

Bump, just realised that in torn, just like RL you have to be persistent and noisy if you want changes done to your city.

Help me be able to pay for subscriber status. I want to help torn. Already bought 3 DP but DP won’t give me monthly special items... and I want them books badly.
Edit: I will bump this every 30 days, and every bump it’s 5$ that torn could have used.
2nd edit: free bumps welcome. Also ideas to improve this suggestion.

it all depends on transaction confirmation times to keep the sub going. as some exchange markets can take up to 7 days.
not a bad ideea at all. a lot of other companies and games accept Crypto now....
Seamen [2307728]
True but this game does accept it for buying DP. And it took me less than 20 seconds to be confirmed. Depends if you use exchanges or wallets, but either way most altcoins are fast at comfirmations now.
Edit: I would not mind my subscription to be canceled and then re-activated once the money went through. I’d rather stay 3-7 days without subscription every 3 months than not to have subscription at all.

With the uncertainty surrounding the value of crypto currency and the certainty of cost, Ched would be stupid to take on such a huge risk.

Allow me to elaborate why what you are saying is not relevant if Crypto drops or goes higher:
They already allow to buy DP with crypto. I already bought 3 DP with them, they took 12$ off my Crypto into their accounts. They are already taking the risk, that is settled.
Crypto subscribe would be pre-paid, they get the full amount paid for 6 months in one go. If they decide to hold or sell it’s their business. At the end of 6 months you can renew the subscription within 24h.

It’s just like paying a yearly subscription with a bank credit card. After you get charged for your yearly sub you can close your bank account completely. It won’t affect anything except you wont be renewed the subscription at the end of the year until you add new banking information.

As for crypto uncertanty, they could completely disable crypto purchases and it would be Cheds decision and I would not mind.
But as long as Ched is taking Crypto for DPs, let me spend the same amount of money and pay for a yearly sub.

Edit: also let me inform you that buying DPs with Crypto will get you a 20% discount compared to buying with Paypal. And you don’t pay for transfer fees.
Ched values crypto, that’s why DPs with crypto cost 4$ and with bank money costs 5$

I travel alot constantly and in alot of countries online payments are not as easy. There are sanctions sometimes for companies like PayPal in certain regions. Having a cryptoCurrency subscription option would be very useful to those without the ease of paypal/credit cards.

No ched recieves 0.00382817 of my crypto currency but that translates into 12$ and I was trying to make it more comprehensible for you.
