You can always speak with trader and setup a exchange via points market, most of the time i time with the buyer, buy points within 5 seconds and they deposit super quick. No one that did quick exchange with me got mugged. Yet.

Ride it out. The less you seem phased by this turn of events the more it compels the other person to target another victim that will hopefully whine more.

Tell him to suck your block, lick your ace and that he is a disgrace. TP his house 3 times a day and delay his flights.

Use sfaks for need merits, level hold for free defends, focus on training. Fly for cash. The reality is you only have to med out one every 6 hrs or so to play torn, med cd allows for that. Take advantage and get med and defense merits. Wish I got bountied like that. Actually I used to before people realized it's a plus for me.

If all it takes to get you to quit is a shit load of bounties then he wins. Don’t let that knucklehead win

Here is my list of tips:

When your energy and nerve is full, med out and train all energy at once then do as many crimes as you can manage before getting sent to the hospital.

Stop attempting to retaliate against buy muggers, because they’ve already outed themselves as total dicks by buy/mugging you. Of course they will retaliate against you retaliating against them.

Do not engage. Block them and move on.

Add known buy muggers to your enemies list so they can’t buy from you again. This is especially satisfying when you decide to have fun sales where you basically give shit away for just dollars, and they whine because you have them on your enemies list and they can’t buy.

Get creative with your goals. Right now you can’t get much done because of bounties. Make the game about seeing how much you can get done while being out of the hospital. Spend time in the forums and global chat to get to know the seedier and much more interesting people of Torn. We truly do put the fun in disFUNctional.

Or badger them endlessly for free bounties while you lvl hold and get free defends others normally have to pay for.

If you are getting bountied, stick him on ignore and work around him. You will be fine eventually.

I have done this with Oran. Think it was a 1000 points I sold. All went smoothly and I didnt get mugged :)

Edit. Sorry realised that sounded bad. I sold a lot via Oran. All went well not just that one transaction.

He is probably helping you TBH... You fly, train, fly, etc... when you go to sleep or afk someone collects the bounties, your hard-earned money is safe (if you remember to turn revives off :P). Think of him as paying for your own personal money guard =p

Only place bounties if you are prepared to get them back.

It is trading 101, seriosuly. I have very little sympathy for people getting buy mugged when MP is easy to do.
