- The TCHS stock will rise as more people need medical care. The TC Government pays us to give care to the people that come through our doors, busy days will produce decent spikes.
- The performance of this stock relies upon the amount of people in hospital.
Above was taken from the text under 'about' section of TCHS.
There is 8000 people in hospital compared to the 1400 literally 11hrs ago. How is it that the stock still falls?

really is just random, except when you try to sell.. then the price dives for the next 4 weeks until the game finally buys back at a loss for you at -20%. Quite hopeless.
thats just flavor text, its mostly random how the stock market works, apparently that does play into effect but for the most part it is flavor text to add some lore
The only thing that players can do to affect stock price is a dirty bomb
But it specifically says that the price will increase the more people are in the hospital, if its just flavour text it is intentionally misleading
They are all flavor texts otherwise you could manipulate them easily.

The Torn City Stock Exchange index. An equity market index based on the market capitalization of the 30 companies that make up the T.C.S.E 30. The price is determined by adding up all 30 company stocks and rises/falls are averages of all of them.
this is literally the case for TCSE... why not any other stock?
