The mug protection changes seem good. They'll be difficult for people to understand for a little bit, but it's a good workaround to have it suit it's original purpose.
But the mug amount changes are silly. The only improvement is north of 1b which is a pretty rare situation. I understand substantially lowering the amounts at <10m because that really hurts a noob the most, but the 100m range should be unchanged or only lowered by 10-20%, not halved. Items at that range shouldn't affect the noobs besides a lucky city find and they still come out far ahead anyway.
100% protection isn't really a "thing" with this change. 1 second after being protected you've already started losing protection, and you also can't lower money without further losing protection.
I Assume you didnt have fairly balanced community members - you probably had input from majority muggers than traders in your committee
If you did this wouldn't be the outcome. To be a trader is to take calculated Risks, But this just throws us into the hospital to stay there like a piece of crap that committee muggers thought we are.
Again No Offense to committee members, This just puts us honest traders into a shitpit. i wouldn't be surprised if someone leaves trading for mugging. smh.
soooo...reduce the money gained from mugging even with merits by more than half for the smaller values(<1b) and increase when holding huge amounts(>1b) Since this was made to protect smaller players, i feel that the drop in mug amount till 1b is too high. It basically makes it useless like some people have noticed. 4.5m mugged when a person is holding 100m? That's basically nothing. Maybe only reduce percentage to 10m on hand and not 100m? This change only makes mugging worth it if someone can find a target with over 1b on hand.
Wow $100m - $1,000m is getting f**king destroyed. That's where most mugs occur and you are nerfing it hard. Ched, please put some of the math-minded people together to simulate some common scenarios before making any changes please.
