GOP is a symbol of "Conservatism", though they are out to sell our public lands for oil and gas:

Historically, progressive leaders in the Republican Party supported environmental protection. Republican President Theodore Roosevelt was a prominent conservationist whose policies eventually led to the creation of the National Park Service.[105] While Republican President Richard Nixon was not an environmentalist, he signed legislation to create the Environmental Protection Agency in 1970 and had a comprehensive environmental program.[106] However, this position has changed since the 1980s and the administration of President Ronald Reagan, who labeled environmental regulations a burden on the economy.[107] Since then, Republicans have increasingly taken positions against environmental regulation, with some Republicans rejecting the scientific consensus on climate change.[107][108][109][110]

GOP historically stood for "Traditional Family Values":
The social conservatives want laws that uphold their traditional values

But elects a dude that has been married 3 times, and regularly pays off prostitutes

GOP stands for "democracy":
A number of scholars have stated that the House speakership of Republican Newt Gingrich played a key role in undermining democratic norms in the United States, hastening political polarization, and increasing partisan prejudice.[179][180][181][182][183][184][185][186][187][188][189] According to Harvard University political scientists Daniel Ziblatt and Steven Levitsky, Gingrich's speakership had a profound and lasting impact on American politics and health of American democracy. They argue that Gingrich instilled a "combative" approach in the Republican Party, where hateful language and hyper-partisanship became commonplace, and where democratic norms were abandoned. Gingrich frequently questioned the patriotism of Democrats, called them corrupt, compared them to fascists, and accused them of wanting to destroy the United States. Gingrich was also involved in several major government shutdowns.[183][190][191][192]

In a 2015 Gallup poll, 42% of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents identified as economically and socially conservative:

I believe that if you are still standing with Republicans now, then your support for things that will keep USA behind progression is on full display. History will be your story teller, and how the party dies in hypocrisy.

do all conservatives view all ideas of progressiveness as being marxist?

You can call me what you want. People who only go to one side on every issue is pretty weird. It shows a lack of critical thought. Like how people agree with trump on anything/everything just because they support him. OR line up behind the dems for some more "we hate big money" while taking big money.

Maybe, just maybe, Being progressive is just that, and not some reference to old ideals. Also, there are so many more groups that make sense besides trying to put everyone into the "supporting only israel" or "not supporting israel" groups.

You have made this argument before.

If you know my life and everything I have said, good on you, though I have put down democrats in this very sub. Just because you didnt read it, or didnt see it, doesnt mean it doesnt exist.

Democrats do plenty of bad shit

They're just not as good at it as the Republicans are

Like we have children in camps and the deaths 8n those camps are mounting.

The Democrats being kinda shitty doesn't get rid of the Trump camps

Thats the law don't blame , Trump as he actually enforces the law's , and these law's existed before he WON the election.
Bhappychap [2270497]
He isnt enforcing anything... that's not the presidents role.

He, and the complaint was released this AM, tries to interject his personal campaigns goals, into official WH business.

If you cant see what's wrong with that, you're deep into that trumpism mindset.
Jaecp [2352347]
Lol, that's not the law, fam. Trump ended programs that kept people with their kids.

The cruelty is the point

Law? The president is a criminal

Judge just struck down the administration's challenge to the Flores agreement.... meaning that putting children in camps indefinitely is unlawful. Flores existed before he became POTUS and they ignored it until they actively worked to eliminate it. That's the law.
