Hi all,
racing is fun, but don't you hate how all the attention always goes to the F1 racers? As if the achievements of newcomers in cheaper cars aren't just as impressive.

That's why I am organizing the Noob GP, for Torn players who are less than 365 days old (at the moment of the first race) .

GP:
Participants will participate in 10 races on different tracks, in different cars. Each race will earn you points. At the end of the GP, the winner is known.

Participants
This event is for young Torn players only. You can register when you are less than 365 days old. In total, 10 participants can join.

How to register
To enter the Noob GP, send 1,000,000 to Wollongong[12833]. If you complete all 10 races, you will get this money refunded. Should you not know how to raise this money, drop me a message.

Races:
We will be racing 'custom races' which I will be making. That means I will be in each race we do, but my score does not count. Each race, 5 other contestants can participate, meaning I will do each track/car combination TWICE. Note: you can not participate in both. If you join both races, you will be disqualified from that race.

Races will be password protected, and be probably be raced between 12:00-19:00 TCT time.

We will be racing different tracks, with stockcars from the E-class. No upgrades, or anything. This is not about who spends the most on their car, this is about driving.

Scores
Based on the race times, each race will have a ranking. The higher you rank, the more points you get:
1st: 8 points
2nd: 6 points
3rd: 4 points
4th: 2 points
Fastest lap: 1 point - Sorry, as it turns out, I don't get to see the laptimes.

I will be updating this thread after each race. Again, I am driving the race, but my times do not count.

I had intended to, but the OP feels that its important for entrants to pay the fee themselves, to ensure that they follow through on their monetary investment with a concomitant time investment. Apparently selling 4 losses pays the fee, so it shouldn't be too difficult for anyone to enter regardless of level or days old.

Also you'd need to have bought a racing license, so that means you can afford 1 mil, now that I think about it.

My 1 mil donation has been added to the prize pool instead. Good luck!

The event will most likely take several days, considering that all racers need to do 10 races, and each race must be done twice to ensure all can race :)

Whether or not I will be doing this more often depends on how it goes.
