Are there any tips or guides that explain strategies for war? I'm looking for anything to use to write a faction document on war strategy. Any useful info to give an edge for pre, during and post war.

Thanks!

Also, any tips for defending?

A bit of advice I was given was to break your Faction into two teams. Ones with goods stats can wall sit and hit active players. Ones with lower stats can wall sit, and med back out if knocked off. It works sometimes, but others might have better ideas, like surge tactics. Arranging for your Faction to wipe the wall and focus on staying on while the other side might be going to sleep.

Make sure you have everyone stacked to 1000e, a lot of med supplies to hand, a few revivers won't hurt, and a lot of cans and FHC's.
If that fails, make sure you know of a few stronger players and wall sitters for hire, in case things get nasty. They come with some good knowledge.

I think that the main thing is to have everyone in your faction participating. A motivated faction can beat a less motivated, but stronger faction. Like Happymeal says, those with lower stats can help a lot by getting back on the wall as soon as they are knocked off. It uses up the opposition's energy. Those with higher stats should concentrate on the bigger targets and not waste energy on lesser targets that their weaker faction mates could be hitting.

Also, it is a way to meet people. Chat to the opposition. Just don't aggravate them, and don't have members saying silly things and acting like they are speaking on behalf of the leadership.

As always when the faction is all in Torn for faction events, get some faction races going. E class stock cars allow all racers to participate on an even basis.
