It would be nice if once you enabled vault sharing, it would keep track of who put what in like the faction vault does. Is there a reason it doesn't and can we get that changed to do so?

Make a suggestion. Personally I wish you could just split it in half. Give half each or be able to purchase two vaults.
It should be for years now and numerous suggestions have been made on the appropriate forum.

Ched has addressed this before when it was made into a suggestion, separate logs or any means of keeping track of cash between spouses in the vault has many existing suggestion threads already. IT is never going to happen. Ched addressing this issue

Exactly and it's not even hard to code it so i don't know why he has to be so hard about it.
A feature that only lets you see how much money you put into a faction and only let you take out what you put in would be really cool.
He could always make properties not rentable. It would be interesting to see the effects such a thing would have on the game after properties being rentable for so long.
That's never gonna happen. Doing this will kill the game, as new players won't be able to rent a PI and encourage themself to login daily and if they don't get addicted to the game they won't take out the credit card to waste on useless donator packs.
