Do job points reset to zero if you leave? I’m not sure how it works. Thanks in advance!

No. You retain job points for that company type, but they do not transfer across company types. So if you leave your TV job with 10 points, they'll still be there if you join another TV job, but not if you join a sweet shop, for example.
Just to add something. Have you joined torn stats? If yes, you can go to.
