I cannot include screenshots but I have compared the number of upvotes on my feed to my karma and it’s not adding up.
My karma is increasing but I think it forgets to change sometimes as some of the upvotes are missed.
Are you sure you’re not counting the short posts because even if people rate them up it won’t add to your karma, for example this has 17 thumbs up but you won’t get karma for this:

Yes, there are certain factors where you won't gain any karma. For example, if your post is just one word/too short, or it's a forum newbie/new player that upvoted the post, etc. There are also certain forums that won't affect your karma, I think faction forums don't.
Either way, if some posts aren't generating karma, there is a perfectly valid reason for it!

Yes, I know that karma from faction forums and new players’ upvotes don’t count, but I had no idea about the one word or short posts.
Makes sense as to why I wasn’t gaining because one of my recent posts included one word only, thank you though :)
I think it needs to be like 15 or 20 characters, so even a couple of works might not be enough.
