I think it would be really neat if, while flying, you could open up your laptop and buy any item. It makes sense because you can trade stocks and send emails, so it wouldn't be a stretch when it comes to realism.

The catch, to keep it realistic, would be that you wouldn't have access to it right away or in whatever country you landed in. Like, you couldn't buy some smoke grenades you forgot to bring with you to defeat a difficult opponent who is camping out overseas.

When you got back to Torn it would be waiting for you in a box in your inventory.

Another fun catch would be if there was a new theft crime called "Steal a package from someone's mailbox." It would have a high failure rate, but if you succeeded you would get some random Torn person's Tornmazon package they haven't opened yet and whatever is in it.

And maybe a camera doorbell could be an upgrade you could make to your property so you'd know who got your package so you could get your revenge. Load image: evil

I disagree, I think flying should be punishing.

You can make great money off flying proven by the amount of people that use this as their sole source of income.

This is a disadvantage of flying I would want to keep.

I mean, I don't expect them to do this. It's just a silly idea I had. :)

Actually, it could still be fun if it was a separate shop and you didn't have full access to everyone's bazaars. Like, it would be a little bit of everything but it could sell out just like the other shops do.

This is really a good idea. At least you can order stuff while over seas or something shipped to another user. It would also help when paying someone back while flying, just purchasing and sending something equivalent value.

I like this idea. Taking into account what Bumfluff was saying in regards to not adding too many "advantages" while flying, building off of the ability to have items stolen would be a fun twist, and, in my mind, a common deterrent to everyone doing it. On the other hand, how often does one seek to buy items abroad, to justify implementing this?

The package stealing part is the thing I like about it. Otherwise it seems like it's a more or less pointless upgrade.

The point of this forum is to make suggestions to be implemented in the game.

Hence my negative rating on the thread as I do not feel it should be implemented.
