RR I was "doing great" at.. Making approx 25mil/day..
I then got drunk one night and started chasing losses, losing approx 800mil after 13 or 14 losses in a row.
I know mathematically my odds don't change for the next game but the mechanics of having lost a few followed by a win had worked for me previously..

Decided to chase that 800mil loss with another 800mil bet..
Another loss..
So 1.6bil down at the time on RR after playing Torn about 4 months

It's probably a good job that I didn't have 19bil to play with...

My loss wasn't that big in the scale of things but imagine if you'd lost your whole networth after just few months playing Torn...

Alcohol and RR is one of the most dangerous combos known to man. Waking up with a hangover and a few billion gone is not fun lol.

Roughly a 1b in RR was my worst loss on several occasions, no screenshots to show cause I hate losing lol but my NW can vouch for it xD

I was never a big gambler, only doing $10 slots and spinning the wheels, and then one day I just had to check out black jack after hearing so many stories of big wins from it. I was young, had finally gotten my first few hundred million bucks, and was quickly learning how much more I could do with a lot more money.

At one point I was 60m up, then about halfway through I was 10m down, and after trying to dig out of the tiny hole I ended the day down over 250m.

It was on that day that I made my $100 donation to Torn as to not have to start all over again, and I've never been a serious gambler since.

Yup, I cant remember what i worked out my odds to be in losing all of them games in a row but it was 1 in so many thousand!
