How to get the Honor Clotted: Suffer from an acute haemolytic reaction, or be immune to it (Rare)

Prerequisites:
Introduction to Biology
Intravenous Therapy
1x Empty Blood Bag
Another blood bag that's different from your's

So I just got the clotted award (see my name to see what it looks like), and I figured I'd help others get it too. It's fairly simple:

After completing the necessary education course proceed to use one empty blood bag and withdraw blood. You will then be given your blood type in a blood bag (Mine was O+). You will need to get a blood bag that's full of another type of blood different from your own. In my case I used a blood bag with B+ blood and then proceeded to inject myself and was sent to the hospital with an acute hemolytic reaction.

This is is simple but the education is was takes the time to complete.

nice, simple and easy guide. Not that the merit is too hard to get. But this would belong in the tutorials & guides section, not really in the achievements section.

Just a question, but do you need to finish the bio class? Could you just take one of every type of blood type?

You can just take random blood bags without having done the course.

If you are AB+ , universal recipient, you don't need/can't get an adverse reaction. If this is the case you can take any bag and get the honor. Without knowing you just have to guess and try for rejection.

I don't believe that you can access the blood bag unless knowing how to do the intravenous therapy ( at least it wouldn't allow me).

Wait, can you only get the immunity part if you're AB+, universal recipient?

It's the same honour, but there's two possible triggers, either be immune or take the wrong one.

Oh, sorry, I was just asking what blood type triggers the immunity. Like, I have B+ blood type in game, so would I be immune to the acute haemolytic reaction if I used a B- blood bag?

ah only universal recipient gets that trigger :)

This didn't work for me I've taken a few different ones and nothing has happened :/

it has to be an incompatible blood type
there is the group (AB A B O) and the rhesus (+/-).

On the receiving hand:
+ rhesus are compatible with either + and - rhesus
- rhesus are only compatible with - rhesus
AB group is compatible with all groups.
A and B are compatible with their group plus the O group.
O group is compatible with O group only.

Say you are A+ you typically need AB or B group of any rhesus.
Say you are - rhesus you need any + rhesus blood.

This kind of a an old thread to be reviving xD but once you use an Empty Blood Bag and know which blood type you are, you could look at this chart to determine what you are and are not compatible with:
