Vernunzio [730674]
This thread is for giving details when the dealer awards the pot to the wrong person, i.e., inferior hand. If we share the details from specific hands maybe the developers can correct the problem. It is hard to play poker when hand values are ranked incorrectly, this is very basic!
Vernunzio [730674]
My example from today (this is the level of detail we should try to provide):

At the $1m/2m table I raised to $6m with KJ. Four people called. The flop was KJ8 (I don't remember suits). I bet out 20m into approx. 31m pot and the player behind me raised it to $80m. The next three players folded, and I put the raiser all in. He had pocket AA so my 2 pair was ahead on the flop. The turn and river were both 2s, which meant that he had better 2 pair. Aces and 2s beats Ks and Js. However the dealer gave me the whole pot (I sent AA player the money on my own).

In case it is relevant to the coding at issue, I had AA covered by having more chips, so after I went all in, it was correct to return some money to me (in Torn poker speak, it would read Vernunzio wins [approx 90m] with 2 pairs, Ks and Js, even though I did not actually win anything, that was just my over amount being returned to me).

this is happening over and over again in FULL HOUSE over full house pots. for whatever reason, it's valuing the pair instead of the trips portion of the full house.

in the hand below bobbythejoe had k4 vs paul with QQ.
flop is q45, turn k, river, k.

however paul should lose because qqqkk<kkk44. the value of the tripps portion is being ignored. for whatever reason

there have been several posts about this over the last week, i wonder if something changed recently and or if we've only just now started paying attention to it

I would suggest re posting this in the Bugs and Issues forums. That way it should get assigned to the Devs behind Poker 2.0 pretty quickly.

I’m actually really shocked this bug exists. This should be top priority for whatever team is working on Poker 2.0

Sorry, it happened awhile ago so I don't have proof per se, but to verify there is a problem, I watched somebody lose a 3 of a kind to a 2 pair, and about a day later a full house split with a 2 pair (about 67/33 in favor of the 2 pair).

If I'd have know this thread existed, I would have hand history for you :'(

they aren't monitoring here anymore, needs to be posted to Bugs and Issues and a full on belly laugh, at "Full Time Dev dedicated to poker 2.0", that really made my day
Dekloren [900534]
Dekloren won $1,343,000,000 Flush, high card Ace of Clubs [2c, 4c, 5c, 7c, Jc]

The ace was on board, I had the 5c, so for some reason, it cancelled out the ace, and counted by low cards again here.
Dekloren [900534]

Dekloren won $255,000,000 Full house: Queens full of Jacks [Qc, Jh, Qs, Jd, Jc]

Teck won $255,000,000 Full house: Queens full of Jacks [Qc, Jh, Qs, Jd, Jc]

We both had a queen, it says queens full, but it shows jacks full.

No his right, says the right thing and might be paying right but queens full of jacks is QQQJJ, not JJJQQ.
